Ingredients

  • 1 package sweet Hawaiian slider buns
  • 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese divided use
  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 4 to 6 slices bacon cooked crisp and chopped, divided use
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  • Slice Hawaiian rolls down the center, creating a large top and bottom. Do not separate rolls. Place the bottom into the baking dish and scatter on half of the mozzarella cheese.
  • In a bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, half the bacon, ranch dressing, and green onions, until evenly mixed.
  • Scoop the chicken mixture onto the slider bun and arrange evenly. It's OK if some hangs out the side. You don't need to use all of the filling.
  • Scatter on the the remaining mozzarella cheese and bacon, then place on top half of the rolls.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter and Italian seasoning, then brush all over the tops of the rolls.
  • Cover the pan with foil, then bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake an additional 5-10 minutes, until toasty and cheese is melted.
